Whitehead's library on the second floor of Nine Cambridge Center is a quiet space that has wireless access to the Whitehead network. It contains a small core collection of print books and journals in molecular biology and genetics. The journals do not circulate but the books can be borrowed by signing the register. The library is mostly online and can be accessed through the links on the left.

The library's collection does not aim to be complete. All members of the Whitehead community enjoy full borrowing privileges at the MIT Libraries. It is also possible to obtain papers and books not locally available through the Whitehead Librarian, Dave Richardson. See this for ordering papers.
