The Rebay Lab is using the molecular circuitry of cell-cell communication in the fruit fly Drosophila to understand mammalian development and its associated defects and diseases. Specifically, the group is studying the function and regulation of Yan, a member of an oncogene family of transcription factors involved in a broad range of developmental events in all multicellular organisms.
